Welcome to this part of the unit which I hope you will enjoy. I am rather proud of the fact that this unit has been cited in the Scout Economics and Business Report and listed in the CTI Economics pages and the World Lecture Hall.
The unit is designed to introduce you to economic decision making in the modern business environment. By the end of it you will have developed an understanding of microeconomic principles and public policy issues, particularly in relation to the European Union. Teaching will draw on real world examples and problem solving will be at the fore in the learning process. Students are also encouraged to use the internet as a learning resource.
To help students on the unit I am developing an Interactive Textbook, multiple choice questions and relevant web links. There is also a copy of some past exam papers.
